This year’s DEER VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL is packing an awesome lineup of concerts as the Utah Symphony draws its strings to diverse musical notes. From rock-inspired shows to classic tributes, there’s something for everyone in the mix. On July 18th, we’re getting a sweet treat for all the Disney fans out there. DISNEY IN CONCERT is coming over celebrating beloved songs from their ‘80s and ‘90s films. Featuring music from the likes of Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Goofy Movie, Mulan, Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, The Little Mermaid, and many more, get ready to feel the magic come to life.
DISNEY MUSIC REIMAGINED
Featuring a series of special guest singers, the Utah Symphony will be serving its own beautiful & majestic takes to these Disney classic soundtracks. A selection of the best hits and fan favorites, it’s gonna be an evening that’ll have you teary-eyed. These hair-raising renditions of classic masterpieces conducted by Ron Spigelman will definitely leave you breathless.
Though we’re yet to see the official setlist, we’ve got a few guesses in mind. ABOUT UTAH SYMPHONY
Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, the orchestra has an annual summer residency for the Deer Valley Music Festival. With its rich history as the state’s premier orchestral ensemble, it was born out of local enthusiasts' desire to have an orchestra of their own. Formed in 1940, the group found itself growing bigger and bigger over the years. To this day, their performances are highly-sought after, receiving acclaim both at the national and global levels.
